Clarksville Man Charged In Chinese Restaurant Robbery

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man was arrested Tuesday after he robbed a Clarksville Chinese restaurant.

Clarksville Police found 20-year-old Jerbrodrick Stroud hiding under a lawn trailer near the Jade Dragon on Fort Campbell Boulevard shortly after the robbery.

The cashier told police that a man entered the business just before 4 p.m. and demanded money. The clerk said he acted like he had a gun in the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt.

The cashier gave the man cash, and he fled the restaurant after telling the victim not to call police.

Officer quickly established a perimeter, and were able to take Stroud into custody off Durrett Drive. The victim identified Stroud as the robber.

Stroud was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $75,000.
