Teen Killed, Man Injured In Tullahoma Shooting

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – A 17-year-old boy was killed and a 38-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Tullahoma on Tuesday night.

Tullahoma Police were called to a home on West Grundy Street around 8 p.m. When they got on the scene, they found Austin Ferrell unresponsive on the porch with an apparent gunshot wound. Another victim, George Clay Taylor, was also at the scene.

Both Ferrell and Taylor were taken to Harton Regional Medical Center, where Ferrell died. Taylor was then taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with critical injuries.

Officers questioned the alleged shooter, 73-year-old Nicholas Dipietrantonio, as well as 50-year-old Debra NG. They were taken to the Tullahoma Police Department, where statements were taken.

No arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting was not immediately released. The investigation was ongoing, with investigators still taking statements and collecting evidence.
