ESTILL SPRINGS, Tenn. – Dive teams have recovered the body of a Coffee County man who went missing at Tims Ford Lake in Franklin County.

Officials said 26-year-old Dustin Deadman from Hillsboro went missing Monday after going out to the lake to fish.

Search and recovery teams found Deadman's body around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Chief Allen Rhodes with the Estill Springs Police Department said Deadman was going fishing with four young boys. He was launching his boat from the Estill Springs City Park when it got away from him and started floating out into the lake.

Deadman tried to swim to the boat, but the boys told police he went under the water and did not resurface.

The boys were able to make it back to the shore and call 911 emergency dispatchers.
