La Vergne Home Destroyed By Fire

LA VERGNE, Tenn. – A home in La Vergne was destroyed by fire late Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the home on Emory Oak Cove in the Woodland Hills Subdivision just before 11 a.m.

No one was home when the fire broke out.

The interior was said to be seriously damaged, with the roof destroyed. The home was considered a total loss.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but it was believed to have started in the attic.
