Clerk Pistol Whipped During Tobacco Store Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A store clerk was pistol whipped during a robbery at a tobacco store on Thursday night.

It happened just before 9 p.m. at the Discount Tobacco Market on Clarksville Pike.

Metro Police said two teenagers held the clerk at gunpoint, and hit him with the gun when he fought back.

The suspects robbed the store and ran off.

The store clerk was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
