Winchester Woman Wonders What Happened To Her Paycheck

WINCHESTER, Tenn. - Molly Summers needed to work at home, and thought a shipping company was the best way to bring in extra money for her family.

A representative from USA Amazing Shopping Company contacted Summers after seeing her resume online.

"I Googled the company and went to the web site," Summers said.

She had no reason to believe the company was not a legitimate way to take a home a paycheck.

"So for me it was the best opportunity for me to be here for my children and make money," Summers explained.

She started working for USA Amazing on September 7th. Summers received multiple packages from reputable companies and repacked them.

"Usually I had two to three different packages. I had to re-pack those into one box and ship them overseas," according to Summers.

She would send the packages to Russian and the Ukraine, and has shipping receipts to prove the work she performed.

After doing this for nearly a month, with constant contact with a company representative, it was time for Summers to receive her paycheck.

"And then I tried e-mailing her, and then I tried contacting her, calling her and can't get any answer from either, that's when it shot up a flag," said Summers.

Although Summers is not out any of her own money, she was counting on those wages.

"Not having that income that was promised, that we were counting on for Christmas and bills and stuff, that's what hurts the most," Summers said.

When she searched the company's name on-line Friday, USA Amazing was mentioned on a web site called ScamWarners.

"Oh that made me so mad. It made me so mad because you go and do all your homework at the beginning and nothing's popping up and all the sudden scam. (I thought) somebody else had done this, somebody else's family is going to be affected because of all of this," Summers said.

NewsChannel 5 tried to contact USA Amazing Shopping Company Friday afternoon. No one from the company returned the call.
