NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music star Dolly Parton was involved in a minor crash Monday morning after the vehicle she was riding in was struck by another car in Nashville.

According to police, the incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Vaulx Lane and Kirkwood Avenue.

Parton was the front seat passenger in a Nissan Xterra being driven by 68-year-old Judy Ogle. They were traveling eastbound on Kirkwood Avenue when a vehicle being driven by 64-year-old Diane Lish pulled into the intersection of Vaulx Lane. The two cars collided. The investigation shows Lish failed to yield.

Parton and Ogle were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and only suffered minor injuries. Lish was taken to Centennial Medical Center, also with minor injuries.

Dolly issued a statement on Twitter after the crash saying, "I was in a fender bender this morning, here in Nashville. But I am all good. Just a little tired and sore, resting at home."
