Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A convicted murderer and parolee has been charged with aggravated robbery.

Metro Police arrested 42-year-old Timothy Crowell in connection with the armed hold-up of the Public Storage at 408 Welshwood Drive on October 19.

Police said Crowell entered the business around noon, and demanded cash at gunpoint. The victim complied and the suspect fled in a white car, believed to be an older Impala.

Detectives continue to investigate whether Crowell was involved in a second robbery at the same location on October 11.

Crowell registered as an ex-con with the Metro Nashville Police Department in April 2012. He was convicted of second degree murder and armed robbery in 198.

Crowell was held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
