Large Pot Hole Causes I-24 Traffic Delays

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A large pothole reportedly caused lanes of Interstate 24 to be blocked after several cars experienced blowouts.

The incident was reported just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday near mile marker 58 in Davidson County. The large pothole reportedly caused several cars to suffer blown out tires. Westbound traffic has been affected with the right lanes blocked.

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said they were working fixing the pothole.

TDOT estimated the lanes would be cleared by 7:40 p.m. Saturday evening.
