NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two men have been arrested in connection with opening fire on a car in a gas station parking lot in downtown Nashville over the weekend.

Police charged 19-year-old Dantarius Hancock and 24-year-old Darnell Finnels with aggravated assault and vandalism.

Police said they showed up at the Exxon Tiger Mart on Shelby Avenue near LP Field early Sunday morning. They approached the victim's car, pulled out guns, and opened fire.

The victim was able to duck down, and was not hit; however, a bullet hit the driver's side window.

Police said two rounds also went through the window of the store and into the market.

No one was injured in the gunfire.

Police recovered multiple shell casings from the scene, including multiple bullets from the victim's car.

The victim told police she knew the shooters, and saw their faces as they opened fire.

Hancock and Finnels were both held on $50,000 bond each. Finnels was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after police found cocaine in his car during his arrest.
