BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A 7-year-old boy was killed in an early morning house fire in southern Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police said the Warren County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Ethan Miller, of Bowling Green.

Firefighters discovered Miller's body while extinguishing a blaze at a home in the 4000 block of Glen Lilly Road around 3:17 a.m. Tuesday.

Warren County Rescue Department spokeswoman Deborah Williams said the boy is the son of Charles Miller, a volunteer captain for the rescue agency.

Warren County Deputy Coroner David M. Goens said Miller, his wife, Heather, two children and another male in the home were taken to a local hospital.

Police said they are working with the State Fire Marshal's Office to determine the cause of the blaze.
