Driver Arrested After Kentucky Crash

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – A collision in Hart County, Kentucky led to an arrest of the driver of the vehicle.

Officials with the Kentucky State Police Department said the driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Jacobi A. Craven of Hodgenville, Kentucky, was arrested after he ran off the road and crashed the car into the other lane. They said the crash happened on Ernest Chaudoin Road.

Investigators said Craven was under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision.

Troopers said Craven was traveling south on Ernest Chaudoin Road with another passenger, 21-year-old Kaylin A. Mauller, when he veered off the road, causing the car to flip and come to rest in the other lane.

Investigators said the suspect was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs, criminal mischief, reckless driving, failure of none owner to maintain required insurance security, failure to wear seat belt, and assault.

Officials said Mauller was taken to an area hospital for medical evaluation. Caven has been booked into the Hart County Jail.
