NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Six people were transported to area hospitals after an injury crash on Elm Hill Pike Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, six people were transported to nearby hospitals. One of those injured included a two-year-old child who was transported Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
Authorities said a car was pulling out of a parking lot, and pulled out in front of another car causing them to collide. A pick up truck then hit one of the other vehicles.
Police said the child was not in a car seat. Charges are pending.
Students in the Academy of Energy and Power at Maplewood are busy getting ready for next week's Project Expo and had the opportunity to show it off some of their projects to Tennessee Congressman Jim Cooper.
