FAIRVIEW, Tenn. – A Williamson County woman said someone killed her horse over the weekend and she said whoever did it didn't stop there- they mutilated it.
Barbara MacIlvain, of Fairview, said she discovered her horse, named Bomber, dead Saturday morning. She said his ear and other parts of his body were removed and taken.
MacIlvain said security cameras were set up in the yard and did not capture the death. She said she believes the attack was premeditated and the cameras were disabled.
The owner said she wants whoever killed Bomber to be punished.
"You can see from the look on his face, from the position and expression, that he died in a lot of pain," said MacIlvain.
Officials from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said they are looking into the alleged attack.
MacIlvain has offered a $1,000 for information leading to who killed the horse.
