CULLEOKA, Tenn. - A scandalous discovery lands one mid-state mom not just in trouble with the law, but her own daughter.

Tammy Tuttle was charged with domestic aggravated assault after her daughter, Malinda England, claimed her mother strangled her and beat her repeatedly at their Culleoka home on Dugger Road earlier this week.
England told police this happened after she caught her mother in a sexually compromising position with England's boyfriend, Bobby Burchell, who had just been released from jail.

"The first day she was pretty well, shook up that night, my wife got her to calm down and tell us the story," said Davis Barkdull, a neighbor. England stayed with the Barkdulls following the incident and that's where she called 911.

To make matters worse, Tuttle is awaiting trial for her alleged role in a drug ring after investigators said they found more than a million dollars in cash buried or hidden on their property.

Tuttle's husband, Jerry, has already been convicted on drug conspiracy and money laundering charges and now faces sentencing. Tuttle's trial is scheduled to begin in December.
