NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The victim of a deadly, multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 24 has been identified.

Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said Ana Maria Hernandez was killed in a collision just before 3 p.m. Friday. The incident happened on I-24, near the Bell Road exit.

Police said Hernandez was riding in the back of a car headed west on the interstate, when it encountered slow traffic and rear ended another vehicle. They said an SUV hit the car, causing it to spin around and was subsequently hit by two more vehicles, including a tractor trailer.
