Franklin High School Marching Band Takes 15th At National Competition

INDIANAPOLIS - The Franklin High School Marching Band finished in 15th place at the "Bands of America Grand Nationals" in Indianapolis.

Buses arrived at Franklin High early Sunday morning after spending the previous days competing with 89 other bands.

They scored an 87.4, which is the highest score the band has ever received in a Grand National competition.

Franklin also placed second in the Class AAA category.

The marching band from Dobyns Bennett High School in East Tennessee also made it to the Semi Final round, and placed 21st.
