SPRING HILL, Tenn. - Spring Hill Police continue to investigate a situation that left one man dead and his wife in critical condition.

At this time, investigators still haven't been able to talk to Sue Land, but she may be the only living person who knows what happened. However, she's been clinging to life since the incident nearly a week ago.

NewsChannel 5 has obtained a police report that sheds new light into what investigators found when they first got there.

According to the report, Sue Land called 911 saying she "thought her husband was dead and thought she was dying." The report also reveals one gun was found underneath Robert Land's right thigh. It also states officers found a note on the kitchen counter, giving instructions on the burial site and a list of names and numbers. Authorities said it appeared to be written in a man's handwriting.

The shooting happened at the home on Fremantle Circle in Spring Hill last week.  Police found Robert Land's body Wednesday in his master bedroom from one gunshot wound.

Investigators said his wife Sue was shot multiple times. According to the report, she had wounds underneath her left breast and her abdomen. There were two bullets found on the floor and a number of bullet holes found in the room, including walls and in blankets hanging from the bed.
