RECIPE #5098 - HOLIDAY BRIE IN PUFF PASTRY, Wednesday, November 20, 2013

2  16 oz Brie wheels

2 cups fresh cranberries

1 large apple diced

3/4 cups walnuts

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 large sheet of puff pastry

 

In sauce pan, bring cranberries to a boil, cook for 10 min.

Drain, add sugar. Set aside until cooled

Slice off a thin part of the Brie wheel

Top with cranberry, apples, and walnuts

Place ½ sheet of puff pastry on top of Brie

Turn over and tuck remaining pastry under bottom

Flip over and brush with whipped egg

Cook in preheated oven @ 350 approx. 15-20 min until golden brown

Let cool 10 min.
