NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A $10,000 reward has been offered for information in the death of a woman found on the side of the roadway in east Nashville earlier this year.

Livia Rose Smith was found lying on the roadway in the 2600 block of Barclay Drive, about a block from her East Nashville home, at 5:10 a.m. on February 20. She had suffered a head injury and abrasions to her hands and knees.

The 32-year-old had last been seen alive approximately three hours earlier getting into a cab outside 3 Crow Bar on Woodland Street in the Five Points area. Witnesses told police that the cab appeared to be yellow.

Investigators found no record of a fare being picked up by Yellow Cab Company, although police said the company's record keeping was lacking.

Police have interviewed approximately 20 cab drivers who frequented the Five Points area, but none provided information leading to the identification of the cab driver who picked up Smith.

Smith's brother has offered the $10,000 reward for the next six months, which is in addition to the $1,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information on the identity of the cab driver or any other detail regarding the death of Livia Rose Smith is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. Tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers by texting the word "CASH" along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
