Accused Shoplifters Flee Officers With Child In Car

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Three accused shoplifters are wanted after police said they fled officers with a young child in the car.

The three women were first spotted by security at the Cool Springs Galleria as they filled empty bags with clothing at a children's store last Thursday around 4:15 p.m.

Franklin undercover officers later pulled their Ford Focus over on Baker's Bridge Avenue, but said they fled the scene. They had a small child in the car with them, according to police.

Once the women are identified and arrested, police said the driver of the car will face an additional charge of felony evading.
