Four Teens Arrested, Charged With Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Four Davidson County teenagers have been arrested and charged with robbery.

Officials with the Nashville Police Department said 18-year-old Nickhales Franklin and 19-year-old Thaddous Baskette were arrested Monday night during an attempted robbery at a house located near 200 Trinity Lane in Nashville. They said two accomplices, ages 17 and 13, were also identified as participating in the break-in.

Police said the four suspects entered the home and attempted to rob a man and woman. They said one of the suspects punched the man and the four suspects fled the scene. They were later spotted by an officer and taken into custody.

According to police, Franklin and Baskette admitted to wearing masks and entering the home.

Officials said Franklin and Baskette were both charged with two counts of aggravated robbery. They said the other two teens were each charged in Juvenile Court with two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.

Franklin was jailed on $60,000 bond. Baskette remains jailed in lieu of $80,000 bond.
