NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A hit-and-run driver left behind damage to seven parked cars in a south Nashville neighborhood overnight.

Metro Police were called to Porter House Drive at Althorp Way in Lenox Village around 1:30 a.m. after a witness saw a truck strike several vehicles parked on the street. The driver did not stop.

The seven cars suffered varying degrees of damage, from a front bumper being taken off to side mirrors knocked off. There was debris in the roadway.

Police left notes on the windshields of the vehicles, and many drivers woke up Wednesday morning to find the damage.

Authorities believe the driver has heavy damage to the front passenger side of their vehicle, and said and it could possibly be a Ford pickup truck.

Due to the extent of damage, police believe it's possible that the driver may have been drunk.

No arrests have been made.
