NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Hundreds of people filed through a West Nashville church Wednesday hoping to give their kids a better Christmas, as the Last Minute Toy Store opened their doors for the 20th consecutive year.
"Without this I wouldn't be able to give my kids anything," said Stephanie Marcum who spent close to 10 hours waiting for a chance to get in.
Stephanie is a single mother of two, she's been out of work for eight months and without the donated gifts she was able to pick out today her girls would've gotten nothing on Christmas morning.
"I'm very thankful even if I get one present as long as I get to see a smile on their face, mom will be happy," she added.
The Last Minute Toy Store runs through December, 21 and they are still accepting donations. For information on how to receive gifts or how to help visit:http://www.lastminutetoystore.com/
