SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) - More than 150 National Guardsmen based in West Tennessee are returning from the Middle East on Saturday.

The National Guard's 212th Engineer Company, based in Paris and Camden, are returning from a nearly one-year deployment to support Operation Enduring Freedom.

Members of the unit will arrive at the Volunteer Training Site in Smyrna from Fort Bliss, Texas in two groups. The first group is scheduled to arrive around 1:30 p.m. and the second about an hour later for out processing. Members will then proceed to their units in West Tennessee.

More than 28,000 Tennessee Army and Air National Guard personnel have deployed since Sept. 11, 2001.
