Posted: Updated:

OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – Police are looking to identify a burglary suspect who was caught on an area church's surveillance camera.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the burglary happened at the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene, located on Saundersville Road in Old Hickory. Police said several items were stolen from the church including cash, a camera, and two laptops.

Police said they are also investigating whether or not the same suspect was responsible for another area church burglary. According to police, Tulip Grove Baptist Church on Shute Lane was robbed between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

There was apparently an attempted robbery during that timeframe at the Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, also on Shute Lane.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or text keyword "CASH" along with their message to 274637.
