Police Seize Four Pounds Of ‘Molly' In Bust

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Four pounds of the addictive stimulant known as "molly" were seized by police.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 33-year-old Daniel Clinton Taylor was taken into custody and charged with selling the drugs. He was living at a motel on Bell Road at the time of the arrest.

Police said the large quantity of "molly," was thought to have originated in China, and believed to have cost Taylor $3,000. The estimated street value of the contents was $50,000.

The drug, "molly" is known to contain the chemical Methylone and is similar to the designer drug ecstasy.

Taylor is a convicted felon, with charges dating back to 1998.

There were no other details of the arrest were immediately available
