NASHVILLE, Tenn. – CBS Sports has reported former Vanderbilt offensive tackle prospect, Chance Sorrell, has switched his commitment to Penn State.
Sorrell declared his intentions Saturday, just hours after James Franklin was introduced as the new head coach of the Nittany Lions.
The six-foot-six offensive tackle originally committed to Vanderbilt in June 2013 after receiving offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, and West Virginia.
"I have officially opened up my recruitment and I have officially committed to Penn State University," Sorrell wrote on his Twitter page. "We are… Penn State."
Vanderbilt also lost another former commitment to Penn State on Saturday. CBS Sports said four-star defensive end, Lloyd Tubman, also pledged to the Nittany Lions.
