NASHVILLE, Tenn. – U.S. Marshals believe an alleged gang member wanted in connection with a December shooting in Jackson could be in the Nashville area.

Officials with the Jackson Police Department are searching for 24-year-old Dequevion Lee, also known as "D-Rich," for attempted first degree murder following the shooting of Marketus Hendrix on December 10, 2013.

Hendrix was struck multiple times by gunfire, but survived.

Marshals said Lee is a member of the 111 Crips Street Gang, and there is a strong possibility he is in the Nashville area.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Jackson Police Department tip line at (731) 424-8477. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to Lee's arrest.
