Several Minor Injuries After Two Buses Crash In Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Nearly a dozen people were hurt after two school buses crashed in Montgomery County. Officials said around 40 middle and high school students were on board.

The crash happened near Tiny Town Road and Preachers Mill Road in north Clarksville Monday at 2:45 p.m.

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System spokesperson Elise Shelton said one of the buses rear-ended the other bus at the traffic light.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said there school-aged on board. The buses were carrying students from West Creek Middle School and West Creek High School.

Emergency medical personnel, school administrators and police all responded to the scene.

Shelton said 11 students were transported to either Gateway Medical Center or Blanchfield Army Community Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. None were seriously hurt.

The crash was still under investigation.
