At Least 3 Pilot Sales Employees To Plead Guilty

Posted: Updated:

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - At least three Pilot Flying J truck stop sales employees pleaded guilty to federal charges involving a fraudulent fuel rebate scheme.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that Lexie Holden appeared this afternoon before U.S. District Judge Amul Thapar. Earlier Monday, Christopher Andrews pleaded guilty to conspiracy to committee mail fraud and wire fraud. Brian Mosher, a former Pilot director of sales from Bettendorf, Iowa, pleaded guilty to similar charges.

Holden becomes the 10th Pilot employee to plead guilty since federal agents raided Pilot's Knoxville headquarters last year.

In his plea agreement, Mosher admitted to training other Pilot employees on how to reduce their customers' rebates.

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is CEO of pilot. Jimmy Haslam's brother, Bill Haslam, is governor of Tennessee.
