Gallatin Woman Accused Of Armed Robbery

GALLATIN, Tenn. – A 29-year-old woman has been accused of robbing a Sumner County business.

Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said Cassie M. Kaylor was arrested Tuesday. She has been accused of robbing the Cash Express, located on South Water Avenue in Gallatin shortly after 10 a.m.

Police said the suspect has been charged with aggravated robbery and theft over $1000.

According to police, the robbery victim said a young female came into the business and demanded money. Police said the suspect had what appeared to be a black, semiautomatic handgun.

Investigators said they later discovered the weapon was a BB gun. They said both the weapon and money were recovered.

Kaylor has been booked into the Sumner County Jail. Bond was not immediately available.
