Man Robbed After Meeting Woman On Dating Site

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police said a man was robbed Thursday night by a woman he met on the online dating website, Tagged.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said the victim reported he agreed to meet Danielle Vineyard at an Econo Lodge in Clarksville.

According to police, the victim arrived at the motel room and was ambushed by Vineyard's accomplice, Willie Hardy, Jr. They said Hardy closed the door and struck the victim with a handgun.

The victim was robbed of his money, phone, and keys. Police said he was ordered to remove his clothes and go into the bathroom.

After a considerable amount of time, the victim walked out of the bathroom and called police.

Vineyard and Hardy, Jr. were later apprehended at Kelly's Big Burgers at 405 North Riverside Drive. Police said Hardy, Jr. resisted arrest from two officers during the incident but was later restrained.

Both suspects were taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
