Man Arrested For Bank Robbery In Tullahoma

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – Authorities in Tullahoma have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery.

Tullahoma Police arrested 73-year-old Jackie Wayne Ferrell, of Manchester, on Friday afternoon. He was charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the robbery of the Citizens Tri-County Bank at 501 W. Lincoln Street just before 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Employees told police that a man entered the bank and approached a teller. He then pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Ferrell was booked into the Coffee County jail on $250,000 bond. An initial court date was set for February 13. 

Police said Ferrell has a lengthy criminal history that includes forgery, fraud, theft and a robbery conviction in 1990.
