Man Injured In Fight In Gas Station Parking Lot

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was injured after a fight in a gas station parking lot late Thursday night.

It happened at 11:10 p.m. at the Express gas station on Lafayette Street at Fairfield Avenue.

Police said two men were arguing when one pulled a gun, and struck the victim in the head with it several times. The weapon discharged and the victim suffered a graze wound to his forehead.

He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The gunman fled the scene. Police said the two men knew each other, but no arrests have been made.

The investigation was ongoing.
