Police Identify Woman Killed In Bordeaux Shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The woman who was shot and killed in Bordeaux parking lot on Monday night has been identified by police.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 23-year-old Shavonda Hodge was found critically wounded next to a dumpster in the parking lot of the Phyllis Wheatley Retirement home on Vanderhorst Drive.

Hodge was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she died. 

Witnesses reported hearing shots fired around 8:15 p.m. 

Police said they were unsure why Hodge was at the location.
