One Displaced By Fire At Mt. Pleasant Apartment Complex

MT. PLEASANT, Tenn. – One person was displaced after fire Thursday night in Maury County.

Mt. Pleasant Fire Chief Tim Smith said a kitchen fire broke out at an apartment complex on Southport Road Thursday night.

The apartment suffered heavy smoke and fire damage, but crews were able to keep it from spreading to neighboring units.

Water had to be turned off after flames damaged water pipes.

No one was injured.
