Vigil Held For Slain King College Student

BRISTOL, Tenn. – A vigil was held in honor of an East Tennessee college student who was shot and killed early Sunday morning.

The vigil for 24-year-old DeShaun Greer was held at 9 p.m. inside the Chapel at King College in Bristol, Tennessee.

According to CBS affiliate WJHL, 24-year-old Jamarcus Lavelle Jackson has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.

Three other people were reportedly injured in the incident.

One of Greer's family members said he was originally a native of Marshall County, Tennessee. She said he was expected to graduate soon.

WJHL reports that Jackson has been booked in lieu of $200,000 bond.
