Columbia Police Want To Identify Walmart Theft Suspects

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Police in Columbia want to identify two men accused of stealing more than $8,000 in electronic equipment from a local Walmart store.

Surveillance showed the two men entering the store at 2200 Brookmeade Drive on Friday. They placed a plastic tote inside the cart and then went to the electronics section.

The video showed the men putting some Nintendo systems along with games inside the totes before walking to the exit and leaving the store without paying.

The merchandise totaled more than $8,000.

Loss prevention discovered the theft shortly after it happened and called Columbia Police.
