Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Near Greyhound Bus Station

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in downtown Nashville.

The incident was reported around 8:30 p.m. near the Greyhound Bus Station.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the victim appeared to be intoxicated and stumbled out into traffic.

The victim's identity was not immediately released.

The person was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was said to be in stable condition.

No other information was available.
