NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Three people were sent to the hospital after a rollover crash in downtown Nashville.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of 3rd Avenue North and Church Street.

Officials said the driver of Ford Explorer SUV ran a flashing red light and struck a public works truck. The SUV rolled and came to a rest upside down on the sidewalk.

Three people were transported by ground to area hospitals, including both drivers and a passenger in the SUV.
