Dispute Over Money Leads To Red Light Assault

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A dispute over $200 led to a violent assault at a red light.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Delaware Avenue and West Old Hickory Boulevard in Madison.

Police said Denise Ryan and Charles Wade assaulted the woman while she was sitting at a red light due to a $200 debt. Wade and the victim had been in a relationship.

The victim's 15-year-old son was in the car at the time.

Wade and Ryan face assault and reckless endangerment charges
