Hendersonville Police Investigate Campaign Sign Thefts

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Police in Sumner County have asked the public’s help in finding possible theft suspects, accused of stealing campaign signs from a local candidate.

Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department said five campaign signs were either vandalized or stolen from locations on Sanders Ferry, Walton Ferry and Harbor Drive. The signs were stolen around 1:30 Saturday morning.

The signs belonged to Louis Oliver, III, who is running for Chancellor in the 18th Judicial District. 

Police said they are investigating as to why Oliver was specifically targeted.
