Mysterious Lincoln Co. Photo Came From Storage Unit

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. – A mysterious photo, found by a family nearly 90 miles away after a tornado ripped through Lincoln County, originated from a storage facility.

Renea Bouldin’s daughter, Madison, spotted the photo of a compete stranger near their front steps on Tuesday.

“Just caught it out of the corner of my eye and I looked down and I could tell by the back it was a picture,” the 14-year-old said.

The Bouldins were left with many questions of the man’s identity and fate. Did he make it? Did his home? Turns out, that picture came from a storage unit in Lincoln County.

The man, whose identity was not immediately known, and his wife were having a new home built and stored nearly all of their possessions inside the facility. When the tornado hit, it created a massive debris cloud and blew the picture 88 miles.

Rickey Shelton, who lives just next door, described the experience of surviving the twister.

"People talk about trains. They use words like 'surreal.' Until you're there, it sounded like 182 mile-per-hour wind is what it sounded like to me,” he said.

The family said their pictures have been found as far away as Murfreesboro, Warren County and now DeKalb Counties.
