No Charges Filed Against Woman In Husband's Fatal Stabbing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said no charges have been filed against a woman who said she stabbed her husband to death as a result of an ongoing domestic dispute.

Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said 54-year-old Sandra Hardimon called police at 9:08 p.m. Sunday to report that she'd stabbed her husband to death during a fight at their home on Sunnyview Drive. The body of Clifton Hardimon was found inside the couple's bedroom.

When the stabbing took place, police said Clifton Hardimon was free on $4,000 bond stemming from his March 23rd arrest for assaulting his wife.

Police said no charges have been filed against Sandra Hardimon while they continue their investigation. Detectives will consult with the District Attorney’s Office as they continue their work.
