Country Stars Get Ready For 'All For The Hall' Concert

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the fifth year some of the biggest names in country music will come out to support the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Keith Urban wished all those years ago that the "All for the Hall" concert would get the type of support it has.

"I hoped it would because I think in the spirit of the idea, which was Vince's idea, it is right and it's simple," Urban said.

He and Vince Gill have spearheaded the concert effort from the beginning. The two said the show is a lot of fun, and that is one of the reasons for its success.

"What happened was, we had a blast, he said do you want to do this again and I said yeah man, I'm in. If you need another guitar player, I'm in , I'm right down the street," Vince Gill explained.

Legendary stars like Reba and Lee Ann Womack will perform at the concert. But rising stars are also on the line-up. Names like Brett Eldridge, Brantley Gilbert and Kacey Musgraves will lend their support to the Hall for Fame.

Musgraves said it was an honor to be invited to play.

"These are people I've looked up to my entire life and heard about. And I've heard their music and looked up to them, so this is an honor, not only for that reason, it's a great cause. I love the hall of fame," Musgraves said.

For the first time, a Hall of Fame inductee is part of the concert line-up. Ronnie Milsap learned last month he will become of member, and Tuesday night he will take to the stage and make "All for the Hall" history..

"Keith Urban told me that when I was coming off, we were doing the rehearsal. He said it was the first time they had an inductee actually play the All for the Hall show. I am proud to be here," Milsap said.

The concerts each raise approximately $600,000, and have contributed nearly $3 million since they started five years ago.
