Police Want To Identify Woman Who Robbed South Nashville Bank

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify the woman who robbed a bank in south Nashville Friday morning.

Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said a woman walked into the SunTrust Bank on Murfreesboro Pike around 9:15 a.m. She gave the teller a note in which she threatened to shoot if she wasn't given cash. Once she got the cash, she fled the scene.

No gun was displayed, and no one was hurt.

The bank was closed while police remained on the scene investigating.
