Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A safe option has been offered to help get people home this Memorial Day weekend, if they are too impaired to drive.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, as well as other local agencies, have announced plans to coordinate several DUI checkpoints around the area, in an effort to keep the roads safe this holiday weekend.

AAA has partnered with Bud Light to offer their “Tow To Go” service. For those that live in a 10-mile radius, the service will tow you and your vehicle to your home.

The service has been offering safe and sober rides to residents of Florida, Georgia and Tennessee since 1998. The phone number is (855)- 286-9242.
