Hundreds Honor Veterans During Ceremony At National Cemetery

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, Tenn. – As the nation paused to remember Memorial Day, people in Music City did the same. Close to 100 people were at the Nashville National Cemetery for a ceremony honoring our nation's veterans.

There are more than 8,000 veterans buried at the cemetery in Madison.

Monday was also a chance for families to remember the ones they've lost.

The Davidson County Veterans Coordination Council made sure each of the white marble tombstones had a flag next to it for the holiday.
