Swimmers Who Drowned In Duck River Identified

CHAPEL HILL, Tenn. – The two men who died while swimming in the Duck River have been identified.

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation said 29-year-old David Carraza and 27-year-old Cesar Basusrto drowned Friday at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill.

The two men were swimming in the Duck River which runs through the park when they went missing. 

Their bodies were recovered some time later.

Henry Horton State Park is situated along Highway 11, about an hour south of Nashville.
